Georgian football beats Alabama, Clemson and Florida in five-star corner

Georgian football picked up a massive commitment from five-star cornerback AJ Harris, beating Alabama, Clemson and Florida on his pledge.

Georgia’s high school future got a boost with AJ Harris’ commitment.

On Thursday, the five-star player from Phoenix City chose the Alabama Bulldogs as his future home.

“I’ll live forever with my name, when I die. I’m Gon’ Stack Up That Money ForEVER-EVER. 100,000% CLOSED AND COMMITTED. IM HOME,” Harris tweeted with a UGA drawing.

Georgia FC defeated Alabama, Clemson, Florida in a 5-star AJ Harris corner kick.

To get Harris, Georgia had to outsmart Alabama, Clemson, and Florida in a contested recruitment battle. He had visited the latter two unofficially on multiple occasions this year, but his official visit to Athens in June seems to have left the right impression.

Harris tells Hayes Fawcett of On3 That Georgia has been his “dream school” since he’s been attending camp opportunities since sixth grade.

“I feel at home every time I’m on campus,” he said.

At 6 feet 1 and 180 pounds, Harris is the No. 5 quarterback in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports. It is ranked No. 25 nationally and No. 5 in Alabama.

Copper Pettagna from 247 sports He praised Harris as a “quick blaster,” who can play corner, nickel, or safety at the next level.

Harris had 31 assists, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles when he was young in 2021. He also added seven touchdowns as an impulsive and receiver.

The Georgia Career Class of 2023 now has two excellent prospects for cornering with four-star Harris joining Justin Rhett’s team in the class.
